Extra Virgin Alliance - The Olive Oils
Garcia De La Cruz
Garcia de la Cruz was founded 150 years ago by our great great great Grandmother, who ran a simple mill in the center of the village. We are now the 5th generation of the family to manage the business, but we have to give thanks to 3 generations of strong women who paved the way for our success today.
I am Eusebio, and with my brother Fernando, we are now responsible for ensuring we maintain the legacy and grow the business so that our children can continue the traditions we lovingly inherited. From that small mill, we now sell our oils in over 40 countries worldwide, including Japan and the USA.
The Montes de Toledo area is perfect for growing olives, especially for the varietals we specialize in, Cornicabra, Hojiblanca, Picual, and Arbequina. These four varietals allow us to blend EVOO attuned to the pallets of the countries and consumers we serve.
We pride ourselves on our organic farming and milling methods, emphasizing sustainability, including using the olive stones (pits) as fuel to heat our offices during the short winter months.
